Volunteer
Volunteers have always been critical to the success of the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round. From the early days of the Save the Merry-Go-Round for Holyoke Campaign to the present time, hundreds of volunteers have generously donated their time and talents to perform tasks and provide services associated with every facet of our operation. Volunteers continue to be needed to help us with children’s birthday parties, greet and thank visitors at our Merry-Go-Round gates, assist at our concession, accompany costumed characters and give out treats at special events and so much more. We welcome volunteers with special skills that could be helpful to us, such as mechanical or planning children’s activities.
Please consider sharing a few hours a month of your valuable time and your talents to help us preserve our historic treasure and most importantly, to welcome our many visitors. Your reward will be heartwarming smiles, shared memories and our staff’s appreciation for the important assistance that you will be providing. We will be happy to teach you about your new role and will schedule you according to your availability.
